In fact, that is not too far from the truth. I would suggest that most Volks who are infected with the Vanagon Virus may try to rid themselves of the addiction, but the rates of recidivism are very high. Without some sort of support program, you will experience relapse, which can be triggered by the site of some Vanagon pulled along the side of the road, with the owner under the rear engine compartment and feet sticking out. You will be tempted to pull over and get a fix of dirt and grease. You will find yourself talking about "in the day, when you......". You might find yourself searching Craig's List, looking for a new project..... It is not pretty, so I hope you have a solid plan, and a good support network.....

Cheers! Stuart Ottawa
