Subject:      VW discontinued 1.9 oil filters?

Went to local dealer today for an oil filter 070115561 for my 85 westy and was told VW has discontinued this filter. The parts guy checked and only one dealer within 150 miles of Chicago had any on hand. I'm sure I can order some on line but doesn't Mann make these filters for VW and are they going to stop making them or is this a VW thing? What's a good sub for this filter?
