As for DIY, I'm fairly adept at artwork, (I was a high school art teacher before retiring this past June) but was wondering which paint product would have the best resemblance to chrome. I've even been impressed with the metallic quality of silver nail polish, and thought of using it! I'm also not opposed to buying new emblems if I can get all 3 of them, but if I can't get all 3 new, I'll try to restore them myself. In one YouTube video, a guy used aluminum tape and exacto knife to cut the tape along each shape. It turned out OK, but closeup, you could see where it was cut. I think that if the emblem is restored with matte black and a reasonable facsimile of chrome colored paint, it will look pretty much normal. What I DON'T want is a freshly painted van with old faded emblems on it!
