It should still start without the TB switch. Mine did when it was completely out of adjustment. But anyway, the better way is to remove the whole mess and clean & and adjust it, but you can try per Bentley. Left screw locks it, and right one adjusts it IIRC. My hearing ain't so good, so I used an ohm meter to check that the switch is closed in both full throttle and closed throttle position and open in between. Removing the TB also allows you to clean it and adjust the throttle set screw per Bentley. |
