I have bought and sold both vehicles and real estate over the Internet ;-)

We typically use one of the following:

1) Cash - Colourful or boring green, cash is king. 2) Bank draft / cashiers cheque, certified cheque - Have the fellow bring certified funds with him ... then take he and the cheque to the bank before handing over the Westy. 3) EFT - have the money e-Transfered/ACH/Wire transferred to you prior to signing-over the registration and releasing the keys.
