Hey folks--

I'm mostly lurking these days, but sharing this in case it interests
someone.

So 2 Vanagons in the yard. U pick Parts on Tuxford, Sun Valley, CA (near
Los Angeles)

1 is white aircooled Passenger Vanangon with the GIANT sunroof and being
sold whole. It's the roll-back factory unit with the hand crank. I'm
assuming it's stuck since it's open about an inch. I don't know anything
about this bus. Just saw it. Definitely would need some work.

2 is '81 air-cooled Vanagon Westfalia

It's picked mostly clean, but...

What's there: Pop-top (rough shape), all four doors, most windows, there is
much of the air cooled engine in there but I don't know the condition.

Underneath is a gasoline heater--  I'm guessing it's a VW gas heater from
photos of the same I've seen. I didn't see any controls for the unit as the
entire dashboard has been removed and taken away.

I have a couple of photos but didn't think I could post pics to the list.

What's NOT there-- NO Westy interior, NO front seat swivels, NO
Transmission, NO shift linkage, Not much left.
