mark D, i knew you were gonna say this lol :) but technicalities, schmechmicalities :) you can access the seat adjustment levers from either side..left or right, makes no difference.

that is one of the first things i do whenever i buy a vanagon..put the passenger seat on the drivers side. instant improvement.. (unless of course the guy had a 500 lb. wife that rode shotgun LOL)
