Sprinters are nice, but one starts at about $42K for an empty no window van, then outfits the camper from there. Also, Sprinter vans are BIG. Much larger than a Vanagon, and the low roof model is much taller, yet one would still have to poptop it or live with not enough headroom. I researched these and saved a lot of hassle, time, and $$ getting a Vanagon and refurbishing it. Mercedes does have a new smaller van, Metris, which looks interesting.. Jon
