Edward, if he has a plated-over bulb and you have a bad connection where the series resistor is crimped into the flexible circuit, his easy fix isn't going to help you much. Pull yours out and see if it's mirror-plated. If it is not, then you have to find the high-resistance point in your panel or the wiring to it.
