Thanks. I'll search up on that possibility.

Shameful part is that it's running pretty good.

That river in Egypt (Denial) hopes it's just a leak due to a loose coolant hose clamp but....

engine compression test done a while ago by a Vanagon shop showed:

130 120 140 140

I posted results here and was told they were below spec. But since the vehicle had decent power and since, IMO, the tech may still have been an apprentice, I assumed the compression check may have been done incorrectly.
