Are you somehow giving credit or thinking this is a better tank being OEM? Looking at the coloring and those marks on top it is probably the same aftermarket stuff as that 2.1L tank. For what many vendors are selling them for why not just get the correct one instead of adding another hose adapter-connection failure point?

Hi all.

I may have access to OEM 1.9 WBX coolant reservoirs. If I adapt the 2.1 coolant hose to fit the 1.9 tank nipple, would this reservoir have a negative affect the 2.1 cooling system? i.e. is this a Bad Idea?

images of 1.9 and 2.1 reservoirs:

2.1 http://www.van-cafe.com/shop/images/025.121.403B.jpg

They look very similar save for the upper nipple.

Thanks

Neil.
