Jim, it may work, but I am pretty sure that the real deal AC blower fan motor is actually more powerful than the dash blower. That isn't to say that you couldn't use a dash blower fan and get decent performance out of it. The rear fans are either really hard to get or very expensive. The good news is that they hold up really well so good used, is usually a good option. I have a couple of these here if you need one.
