Seriously, why would anyone think that this is a good idea? It's truck bed liner, for crying out loud. But it is two tone! Since it's an air cooled, maybe it's worth $3k in this condition. Certainly not $13k.

There was a '91 Westy Weekender for sale in Humbolt that had this done in Burgundy. Other than the bed liner paint job, it was a really nice van. They had to keep dropping until it finally sold for $7k. That van will normally bring north of $20k in very nice condition.
