So except for an alignment, the job is done. A few suggestions for tools

I bought this 10 Amp Dewalt reciprocal saw. (vendor link) http://tinyurl.com/kfcn4em Saw chuck allows blade to be mounted 4 different ways, saw itself is shorter than most.

Use actual "metal" blades. The "bi-metal" blades are of no use here.

Provide work area with adequate lighting.

Use cutting fluid to cool blade and help get through the bolt metal.

Cutting away some of the bushing lip may help one see where the blade is cutting.
