Subject: 1.9 water pump question
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Can't put it off any longer. The pump I got (Graf) includes the big O-ring and the two gaskets on the pump, but not the small O-ring for the pipe that slips into the T-stat housing. I need that, and I think that pipe has to be detached from the engine at the other end to get at the pump, so I'll need that gasket too. It's been 20 years since I've done this job, and the Bentley doesn't have any instructions, just a diagram.

Are these dealer only items, or have any of you found a source? Are there any other gaskets I need?

I'm going to find out how much it will cost to have this done tomorrow just to see if it's worth doing myself.

Thanks!

Stuart
