How do you plan to get those hoses onto that compressor? The 90 degree ends remind me of the air cooled units with the York compressor. Get the straight connectors with the charging ports included. A good hose shop should be able to get fittings that can be installed in place. Somehow those hoses look like they may have served their time. Another option is to get in line tees with the service ports.

I'm really close to having this thing put back together, but I think I'm missing one more part. If anybody out there could help me out I would be eternally grateful!

I've replaced my O-Rings, my dryer and my compressor. I'm ready to hook everything up and take it to pull vacuum and charge it, but I don't see how or where they will be able to tap into the system to charge it. My system is not stock. The two hoses in my engine compartment end with a threaded/flared connection that would happily screw right onto my new compressor. Only problem is that there is no one way valve to hook up to the refrigerant machine.

Here's what I have: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-oX2LsNl_v9c/VVEYkZRdyZI/AAAAAAAALzo/CMKGb GGP3-k/w362-h644-no/20150511_163429.jpg

And here's what I'm guessing I should have: http://images.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/1207842.jpg

Anybody know if there's some kind of adapter that would screw in between my threaded hose ends and the compressor that would have this valve on it?
