Frank,
It looked like I didn't have enough room for the fourth battery. I suspect I could add one at a later date. Going to see how the 3 batteries work during our early June trip to Newfoundland. It will be our first experience with the GOWESTY solar array setup also. The batteries are Glass Matt type. I am not to familiar with the battery separator you are suggesting. When we get back the first of July I will investigate more fully your set up. Sounds great.
Thanks for the information and help

If they stay good reconnect the services one by one to see which one is using power without you approval. Then, why did you only put in three of the wheelchair batteries ? Four fit in the space under the seat, so…….I have to ask why not put four while your in there doing all this electrical work. Then, also the Sure-Power 1315 battery separator if far superior to any other battery separation system available so why not use the best. Once you get the solar connected then you will see if your consumption equals your input. I have the four wheelchair batteries and a 130w solar panel and it just about keeps up if there’s full sun every day. I do have a WAECO fridge running, similar to the Truckfridge, same compressor so same amps. I also have converted all interior lights to LEDs. Also have a permanently installed trickle charger, so whenever the van is plugged to a land line the batteries are being charged. The trick to keeping batteries alive for a long time is to keep them charged although those wheelchair batteries, if they are glass matt ones, can be depleted and recharged without much consequence.
