Well, life is full of choices. I don't smoke, and my drinking is limited to a beer or two on occasion. Luxury is defined by the one who luxuriates. I could choose Fiamma. The ease of using what I have and being self reliant in doing so is why I choose this particular form of luxury. But then I have never spent a night in an RV park, either.

I'm glad you like what you have.

I don't know why anyone pays big bucks for an awning, and drills holes in the vehicle to attach it. I realize there are set ups similar to what we have sold in kit form by some of the online vendors, and those are likely good devices. EZ Up is one, I think. But I did it myself, and like it fine. > > > > mcneely > > > > ---- Marc Perdue <mcperdue@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > >> My wife and I bought a 10' x 12' tarp, folded over and sewed two ends, > >> put old tent rods in them, bought the rain gutter clamps from Bus > >> Depot and some extensible tent poles online, and wound up with a very > >> inexpensive and functional awning.
