I have a Shadyboy awning on my Eurovan Camper and cannot recommend it. I’ve had the Shadyboy for about a decade and I’ve learned to live with its idiosyncrasies.

It is small and a rather neat technical achievement, setup isn’t terribly difficult (label the poles), but it’s extremely (repeat extremely) unstable in the lightest breeze. If you buy a Shadyboy be sure to purchase the optional down poles and always (always) tie the awning down. I also recommend taking it down at the end of every day— it squeaks with any movement.

Buy the reflective fabric—the blue fabric actually magnifies the heat underneath.
