Neil,

It weighs a bit more than a spare tire :-). The battery is listed as weighing 128 lbs and I can attest that it seems even heavier when you are moving it around and trying different install locations.

I have to reiterate that the install location is not the best place, but it was about the best place I could find ( considering ease of installation and space utilization).

And the battery is way larger than what I need. But it was a given as a gift and I thought it would be "fun" to use it.
