Hi John,

At the time I did this I could not find a good deal on the professional stuff but used a respectable copy called Fat mat i found on amazon. It has held up well for two years and the van sounds much nicer. I did all the things Denis recommended and more. Only thing I left out is the door plastic replacement. I have the original stuff there so just left it intact.

the stuff is easy to cut to shape. is clean on your hands, and doesn’t have a noticeable smell when installed. I would recommend it over the metal with tar like sticky stuff. Your van will not risk any lack goo marks and it is nice to work with. It goes on sale at amazon pretty often.
