fyi... I have seen some awnings broken by light/moderate winds Fiamma and ARB and yes it was scary because the owner of the van can't retract it to drive...

so I would suggest to think hard before getting one...

I have now an ARB 2000 siting in the garage collecting dust. I prefer light weight stand alone awning not bolted to the van for these reasons:

- we can move the awning where we want it according to the direction of the sun - affordable price and easy to cary and versatile - we can use at home or for camping - no bracket, no holes to drill
