I still rely on the domestic propane to make the munchkin ice cubes for my beverages. The cubes just about survive the time it takes to get the glass to your mouth. That darned volume to surface area relationship! And my message to the list irked the vanagon gods. After writing I filled up the water tank and tested the pump... Nope...unstick impeller...doesn't like turning. So I had to find my substitute and plumb it in. I have been thinking about an external pump, a diaphragm pump with pressure switch. Now I'm even keener about the idea. Alistair Ps I will take pics, more clear cut :-)
