I can corroborate this - bought the Bus Depot canvas last fall and
installed it myself. (late ¹85 - with the aluminum/screws).

An excellent canvas and with none of the flaws that Frank describes. A
huge improvement, in fact, over the (original) one that was on there. Love
the three window design, the zippers / velcro are hearty and strong, and
the canvas is snug but not overly tight. Beading was excellent and where
it was supposed to be. Any flaws in the installation were of my own doing
and not fatal. 

It is still are real job - we spread it across two days, a buddy and I,
partly because we also took the top off to clean it inside and out, and to
install the Jack Bombay lift shocks (best thing, ever). It is SO much
better now.
