I bought the green temp sensor from an AAZ Jetta and now the gauge reads
even more off. It is pinning out all the way to the right within 5 mins of
running. I still have the yellow one which I might put back in. The green
one I bought is part number 357919501 is that the one you meant? Beside
the temp gauge being wacky, the engine is running and driving well. Just
want a gauge that works before I drive it too far. It makes me nervous not
having a level sender and an accurate gauge. I turn on the front and rear
heaters just so I can feel the heat, I know that there is coolant in the
engine.
