Subject: Fried wiring harness from dash to 84 Westy camper relay
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

No good deed goes unpunished. Short version of Ooops, melted the power wires in the harness that goes from the main fuse panel along the floor into the auxiliary battery box. I am trying to leave on Wed. for Bus Fusion, & wonder if I just leave this harness out until I can get a replacement, install new aux. battery, etc. I figure I won't have any camper lites, water, fridge, etc for the trip, but it is better than not going? I should still have all other electrical off of the starting battery, which is more important to moi. I know I could make a harness from looking at the simple one I had to dismantle 1/2 of the driver's side area, but w/ other lighting relays, etc. there is a bunch of non stock wiring in there that I don't have time to make sure everything is wired kosher. Am I out of my mind?

YMMV,

Mr. BZ
