I recently went through doing part of that door window reseal job. If I may add....

Rig up your work light on a stand. Trust me. Find a way to secure the door from moving. No, you can't put the door glass back in even if only one felt strip is in place Yes the felt seals can be installed after glass is in place A pic tool might help open up the clips for the felt seal to seat. That said, they tended to line up ok. I used 3M trim adhesive to cover up a few "sins" (window upper seal a hair short, secure little flaps on other seals that overlap) Don't bother trying to leave any of the fancy chrome trim in place. I didn't do the wing window seals so kept that trim IIRC, but the chrome at felt strip area? No. Delete it. I think vendors like van-cafe speak of this. In hindsight, I would've done only the outer felt seals; the inners were ok. While you're in there, lube up the latch parts and crank cable and stuff.
