Is this camper wiring still wired as per OEM? e.g. the red wire not repurposed to supply power TO dash fuse box? Is aux. battery wiring OEM? If so....

Were it me, if I was certain of what caused the meltdown, I'd decommission that 2.5mm red load wire (and D+ wire to relay to be safe) inspect for any other melted wires then if all is ok, pack a cooler-block ice and go.

Hopefully someone more observant than I will comment, but a quick look at Bentley camper section shows that red wire from dash (B+) to fridge relay connecting only to camping appliances, save for the kitchen light which should be part of the dome lighting circuit.
