Hey Stan, The Yoko Geolander AT/S tires have worked well on one of our Syncro Tristars. It is a good compromise between on and off road. We're running 17's, but I doubt there's much difference between the 2. Cheers, Jeff

I have a 90 westy ( non syncro ) that currently has Michelin Defender tires 215/65/16. I am looking for something a little tougher, that would hold up on dirt, forest service type roads - no off roading, just rugged, rocky roads. The General AT2 and the BF Goodrich All Terrain are a little too rugged. The Yokohama Geolander AT/S seems like my current best choice, but is there anything even a little less rugged than that, but still tougher than the Michelins??
Thanks
