Image: http://tinyurl.com/p8bna5c As per list wisdom (and thanks Ralph), tapped each anchor with hammer many times, especially around the exposed bottom of the anchor pin, applied penetrating fluid several times, heated and reheated several times and eventually they each started turning. I used vice grips. That anchor metal is relatively soft; DON'T be tempted to turn the part with something inserted between the jaws. I'm sure the exposed bottom of the pin is made a slightly larger diameter so you can get pliers on it. I'm super stoked. Really didn't want to tackle back plate removal having recently finished the trailing arm project!
