Martin,

The "roar" I describe is a little bit hyperbole, as is always when I write. The facts are these: Where once the fan was loud, now it is almost inaudible. The flame with my ear to the flue was almost inaudible, and now it is loud enough to hear from a short distance away. Don't ever take my writing too seriously : ) I am not trying to quantify this stuff. I did not bore out any jets, I just cleaned out the intake and exhaust tubes and got the combustion chamber spotless and made sure the stock orifice was clean and everything was sealed up. It's performing better than ever.
