I used Rustoleum Topside Marine <http://tinyurl.com/pl5slz8> paint
(semi-gloss white) as Interlux is not easily available 350 miles from the
sea.  It's held up well under Eastern Oregon weather (Winter -20, Summer
100+) for eight years. IIRC, the paint and primer was about $40. I added a
bit of Penetrol to improve the paint flowout. Like Alistair, short nap
roller and a brush.  Painted the top on the bus. Removed the luggage tray
and painted it on saw horses.

I agree. I used interlux briteside on my pop top a few years ago. Rolled on
with short nap roller, tipped off with brush, done in small sections.

Really nice result and the paint is taking a beating ( branches) and
holdings up well.
