Paint the top of the poptop! I did mine years ago with elastomeric paint from an RV store. RV roof paint, basically. It’s also the stuff that gets used on foam (house) roofs down here in Kalifornia. Its rubberized (?) so it theoretically remains flexible in the hot sun. I have a Dove Blue top and the top is now noticeably cooler to the touch than the sides in the hot sun.
