Hi, I have run Konis on other vehicles.  I have been very pleased with them, especially the adjustable yellow shocks on my Mustang. However I went cheap for my Vanagon shocks. I got some $30 a piece Meyles from one of the supporting vendors. My Westy sees occasional light duty use for fun runs to the NorCal coast or Central Valley campsites.  So far, the Meyles have been satisfactory. Eric:

We are also running koni's and heavy duty springs.  The koni's are adjustable and will cost you around $100 a piece.  We are pretty heavy and needed the stronger springs and shocks.  Hope things are going well for you.
