Tyler, I am not an expert on the subject, but here is something from my smog test experience. Do you ever get a mysterious gasoline spill when filling up the tank, or after a sharp turn? If so try checking the network of lines and fittings in and around the gas tank, including the plastic overflow tanks in the front wheel wells. The lines between the top side of the tank and the cabin floor are hard to reach, don't forget those. People often refer to subject as "gas tank reseal". If any of those lines and fittings are bad, the visual and pressure test will fail. After repairing any lines or fittings, and before retesting, you might want to ask them to use the lowest pressure possible. The Vanagon evap control system can work effectively, but it doesn't seem to be designed to withstand a high pressure test. Raymond
