Solar panels are the most appropriate power source for a camping vehicle, for certain. Clean and non-intrusive to those who are camping nearby, who may not want to hear you Zap your pop-tarts in the AM or stay up late and listen to your generator as you play a video after dark. Solar power for a Vanagon *really* makes sense...the panel(s) last forever and use no fuel, make no noise or smoke and are easier to stow than a generator...I have an older small panel that we began using in an Alaskan pickup camper almost 20yrs ago. It still powers my Vanagon camping needs just fine, On Sat, Jun 20, 2015 at 5:56 PM, PB <pbrattan@gmail.com> wrote: > I had a great meetup with the Vangelenos > < > https://www.facebook.com/groups/725680570882543/permalink/773211782796088/ > >, > who I found on FB.
