Please don't do this.  There is no reason.  The next person will want to
put it back.  Unless you plan to rework the upper cabinet you aren't even
going to get the small amount of storage space that you might be able to
have there.  I am begging you, do nothing!  Wow never thought you would
have to beg folks to leave something alone  :-)
