If you don't have access to A/C gauges, turn the ignition to ON, turn the A/C on, and jumper the pressure switch. There should be voltage at the clutch. If it does, your refrigerant is just too low to make the switch. If it doesn't engage, and you have good voltage at the clutch, the clutch is bad, or the ground is bad. If you have no voltage at the compressor with the switch jumpered, you still have electrical issues upstream.

None where blown, but some had oxidiz= ed contacts.  I clean and/or replaced the contacts and fuses. Now when she's= warmed up I get and increase in idle speed and radiator fan speed when I cr= ank up the A/C.  Still no action at the compressor. I would expect it to cyc= le occasionally even if the refrigerant is low, but I don't know if  that is= how it's designed. I plan to check voltage at the compressor, and try to de= termine if there is enough refrigerant in the system to keep the pressure sw= itches happy.  Ironically, the afternoon heat is making me call it a day but= I plan to get back to it next week. Any additional advice would be apprecia= ted. Thanks, Raymond=20
