I have a 90 weekender, and even the AC working perfectly was pretty worthless driving in muggy T storms let alone clear weather. Would be nice to have decent AC but the stock system is worthless - I pulled it and cleaned up the back w new cabinets. For anyone who knows Vanagon Westies, the AC does not add value. The non-Westies are a bit better, as vents are overhead.
