Turtle Wax Bug and tar remover will take it off. So will GooGone. Neither one have harmed the original finish on my Dad's '90 Carat. We have to do it every year at the start of summer to get it off. Of course it strips all the polish off, so plan on a wash, cleaning the gooey crap off, wash again, then waxing. It's an all day job.

Haha. Someone clipped a little too little. I want to remove it from the van. Hair is easy - I cut it out :) they are the stickiest things ever and yes they are a type of poplar.

Paint thinner won't damage the finish? That sounds risky!!

What's the best way to remove?
