I usually need to have my local AC guy recharge my AC once a year about this time, but, I just took a ride in 80° heat, and it looks like I'm good for this summer. Yeah, it takes a while to cool that big a volume, but most of our trips are long enough that we end up in cool splendor before we have left town.  Say what you will about GoWesty and their Vanagon prices, but, after 5 years, this is one more thing we don't have to worry about in our dotage (is that a word?/the right word?/ -- anyway, we're OLD).
