The fan market has some options for this. You can get them with a remote control with a bracket to hold it to the wall so it doesn't get lost. Hang it, power it up, and use the remote for all the functions. Note that fans also need to be installed on fan rated electrical boxes or be independently supported. Dennis

Tom, if you're having someone wire this thing who doesn't already understand how to do it (and it's not as though it's the least bit complicated or unintuitive) -- that is not someone either you or your insurance company want messing with your wiring.
