The "abuse" i referred to indeed included running the fridge at too large of an angle. re: material between the cold tube and aluminum part drying up: images: https://picasaweb.google.com/musomuso/DometicPics#5352844999357017490 Can't recall if I noted this but one has to be careful not to seat the LH end of aluminum part over the lip at end of cold tube. Roger Sisler, a member I've not seen posting for some time, did an in depth Dometic repair-upgrade thing. It was suggested to me that this was unwise. Regardless, I learned a lot viewing Rogers pages. Neil.
