Neil,

I really underestimated how hard it would be to get these particular nuts off. If I were to do it again I would have welded heavy wall tube to the wrench and inserted my long breaker bar into the tube instead of a bar that the extension fits over.

(The bar is a tight fit into the extension tube. I could weld on a bit more meat to fit the bar, side to side, in the tube, but I wonder just how much more strength that would give it.)

That also would have brought the extension bar out further from the wheel. As is, the bar is close to the body during use.

I haven't had such a hard nut to crack, previous times the nut came off relatively easily with my socket and extension.
