        Finally some common sense !  Thanks !  Please, read my doc at:  <http://www.frankcondelli.com/fridge.htm <http://www.frankcondelli.com/fridge.htm>>  These fridges NEED to be serviced at least once a year and perhaps more often if necessary.  This is what is stated in the Dometic repair manual for this fridge !  The reason they are so hard to light is that the burner box is sealed from out side air, no air to mix with the propane, it will not light, basic fuel combustion principal.  There is only three ways air can get to the fire box, #1- through the air intake tube, this is why the fridge lights easily if you run it on 110 service for awhile before trying to light the propane service, the heat rising out the exhaust tube from the 110v heating element causes fresh air to be sucked in the intake tube.  #2 - by using the air pump to pump some fresh air in. #3 - by opening the fire box drain tube, that little brass cap thingy at the bottom front of the fridge and blowing in some fresh air.
