I saw two in Brooklyn NY yesterday. One was a real nice looking Westy. Anyone on the list?

Tonight, parking at the Publix Grocery, across the parking lot I spied another van. On this one Ihad to do a double take. It was a spitting image of my own 1991Carat. Dark blue, autotranny. I met the owner, one Mark Gooch, a photographer, to be found at iseethingsalittledifferently.com. Lives here works in Atlanta. Original owner, put 260,000 on it then slung a rod. Re- engined with a Boston Bob engine before Bob passed. Nice Carat. Surprisingly, he doesn't know a lot about this beast - some but not a lot. I'm supposed to email him with some info and also tell him about 'the VANAGON LIST.

Maybe we'll have a new member!

John
