hmmmm.... I'd assumed something would deteriorate from a chemical standpoint. The "abuse" i referred to indeed included running the fridge at too large of an angle.

Can't recall if I noted this but one has to be careful not to seat the LH end of aluminum part over the lip at end of cold tube.

Roger Sisler, a member I've not seen posting for some time, did an in depth Dometic repair-upgrade thing. I think this is it:

caveat: I recall posting that I'd cleaned the jet orifice with a mild solution of acid-water. It was suggested to me that this was unwise. Regardless, I learned a lot viewing Rogers pages.
