No identifying information on this mystery product? There used to be a product called "Lock-eze," but I thought it was just a brand name for graphite. What you have obviously, as you know, is not graphite. BTW, did it work to free up the lock? So far as graphite is concerned, I have used it all my life, as did my father and mother before me. It does not attract dirt and so make the sticky lock worse like any lubricating oil does. I've never had a problem with it, other than it getting onto surfaces and materials where I did not want it, and it being quite difficult to clean up. Soap and water work, but not everything it might get on is soap and water compatible, and it has a way of getting spread far and wide. If it gets onto fabric, might as well toss it if the stains matter. mcneely
