Nice sunny day today, 30C in the shade. I pointed my IR temp gun at my friends high top , burgundy coloured section on the side. It read 76C. On my white pop top, same exposure to the sun, on the side of the pop top approximating the same angle as the high top, temp was 31C. What I need to do is put thermometers in each van and sit them out in same exposure and see which gets hotter inside. High top has foam insulation and tinted windows, all kinds of differences to make the exercise a bit silly, but still... Alistair |
