As I sit here am looking at the throttle body for my 2.1L WBX. It's oriented so the manifold is on the left and the big hose for the AFM goes on the right. That puts the throttle switch towards me and the cam on the end of the throttle shaft away from me. On 5he plate above the switch are two allen head screws, a large one on the left that apparently goes trough the plate with some sort of fastener on it. The screw on the right is smaller, and penetrates the top plate but does not penetrate the bottom fiber plate . There is a tiny hole there. That small allen head screwhead is broken off. I am going to have to drill it out QUESTION: Can I drill it. Or will this ruin the eccentric that adjusts the switch. I am in a quandry as to how to proceed Thanks. John |
